Individual Stratocore Account FAQ

All UT faculty, staff, and students should select the “Your institution is UT.” All other users should select “Your institution is NOT UT.”

Individuals do NOT need to have an account number to create their account.

If you do not see your research group in the pull-down list, a Group account will need to be created before individuals can be added.

Group Stratocore Account FAQ

Group accounts cannot be set up without prior approval from the PI.
The group name will be used to identify the lab by other staff and administration. We recommend using the PI’s last name (ex: Phipps Lab).
The administrative contact is the person who handles billing and scheduling issues for the group.
The account used for billing UT Core Facilities charges should be entered.

Please note: The Stratocore system is fully integrated with IRIS and will verify account information during the creation process. The account should either be a Research account (10 digit R or E account) or a Departmental account (E or R + I/0). Please note that if using a departmental account, an Internal Order Number (ION) should be used for tracking UT Core Facilities charges.

An Internal Order Number can be obtained from your department’s business manager. This number will be used to identify charges from UT Core Facilities.
