Workshops & Tutorials

Note: The UT Knoxville Employee Hub has launched.
We will be moving all internal resources and information to ORIED’s hub site by 2025.

The grant process can be a daunting exercise. To help guide researchers, scholars, and creatives navigate some of the more complicated processes, ORIED offers workshop and training opportunities on various topics throughout the year. Topics may include proposal development, grant writing, fellowship grants, and the responsible conduct of research. All are free of charge for faculty, staff, and graduate students who are responsible for or interested in pursuing funded research.

Visit our workshop platform to view and register for available workshops. A UT NetID is required to register for our workshops. If you have any questions about a workshop or do not have a UT NetID, please email the instructor. If you would like training on a subject that is not offered, please email
