David Anderson, associate dean for research and graduate studies in the University of Tennessee, Knoxville’s College of Veterinary Medicine, was interviewed Oct. 7 on The Hallerin Hilton Hill Show on News Talk 98.7, WOKI-FM in Knoxville. The interview is part of a series Hill is producing with a focus on the impactful research being conducted at UT and the faculty members behind that work.
Anderson’s research interests focus on biomedical materials, tissue regeneration and regenerative medicine. His scientific team serves as expert consultants in the development of models to study cellular, tissue, organ and body disorders.
In the interview, Anderson discusses his research into how to trigger and connect regenerative mechanisms within the body and find solutions tailored to a person’s specific needs.
