The impacts of automation, shifting patterns of car ownership, and the movement away from fossil fueled-vehicles are just a few of the changes driving the fast-paced transformation of mobility.

As a land-grant institution, UT facilitates the convergence of world-class mobility research, workforce development, community engagement, and partnerships with industry.

Our faculty and students steadily deepen the world’s understanding of the science behind better mobility. We apply this knowledge to solve real industry challenges and commercialize new technologies that advance safe, clean, efficient, and affordable mobility.
