The Office of Research & Engagement’s Professional Development Program offers training and educational workshops free of charge for faculty, staff, and graduate students who are responsible for or interested in the requirements for funded research.

- Grant Writing & Proposal Development — How to find funding and create successful proposals. (3 New December 2013 Workshops)
- TERA-PAMS — How to use the Tennessee Electronic Research Administration (TERA) system for proposal creation, routing and approval.
- Compliance — Specialized compliance training in the areas of IRB/Human Subjects, Export Control, Biosafety, Radiation Safety, and Responsible Conduct in Research (RCR).
- Additional Resources — Post-Doc Mentoring, Author Workshops and New Faculty Orientation presentations.
UT employees are eligible for Professional Development Credit (HR-128) for all workshops and online courses offered through the Office of Research & Engagement. Please use the Additional Credit Form.
