Erica Echols has been an employee of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville since 2013 where she has worked in the Tickle College of Engineering Office of Diversity and for the Program for Excellence and Equity in Research. In her current position with the National Institute for STEM Evaluation and Research (NISER), she provides external evaluation of integrated STEM research and education programs within and outside of the University of Tennessee. She manages the collection, input and maintenance of all data from evaluation projects, and assist the NISER Director with all aspects of evaluation and data management under her purview. Echols implements an array of evaluation and program assessment methodologies needed to meet the requirements of the various sponsors for reporting on the processes and impacts of programs evaluated by NISER. She analyzes data with statistical and visualization software in order to prepare technical reports, briefings, and presentations. She also contributes to articles publishable in the research literature concerning impacts of program activities.
