Stratocore Scheduling and Billing Software

To better serve the research community, UT Core Facilities use Stratocore for billing and scheduling. Statocore is fully integrated with both the university’s central authentication system and financial management software (IRIS), providing seamless interaction with core facilities and shared resources.

The system allows any UT faculty, staff, or students to securely log in using their UT NetID credentials; search for and reserve equipment and services; and pay for services once work has been completed. Stratocore provides the means to interact with UT Core Facilities and ensures that users have access to the expert services and cutting-edge equipment that they expect from UT.

Requesting a Stratocore Account

To create your individual Stratocore account, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Stratocore UT landing site. From there, click on the UT Core Facility you plan to use.
2. Once you have selected a UT Core Facility, click on “Account Creation Request” from the menu at the top of the page. From there, follow the steps to create your account.
3. Once you are done, click “Submit Form.”

Creating a Group Account in Stratocore

During the creation of your individual Stratocore account, you will be asked to select your research group from the pull-down menu. If your group is not listed, then a group account will need to be created before individuals can be added.

To create a group account, follow these steps:

1. Approval from the PI must be obtained prior to creating a new group account.
2. Go to the Stratocore UT landing site. From there, click on the UT Core Facility you plan to use.
3. Once you have selected a UT Core Facility, click on “Account Creation Request” from the menu at the top of the page.
4. Fill out the First Name, Last Name, Phone, and Email fields.
5. Under the Group form field, click on the “My group is NOT in the list” link.
6. Complete the remaining fields and click “Submit Form.”
