Climate Justice

UT’s Climate Justice Community of Scholars connects campus faculty and researchers in diverse units who study the growing impacts of climate change on social inequality. A primary focus of this work is to find equitable and just solutions. Climate Justice research includes the differential impacts of climate change exacerbated events such as flooding, drought, sea level rise, famine, wildfire, as well as biosphere degradation and species loss, on marginalized populations in many areas of the world.
