Scholarly and Research Incentive Funds (SARIF)—Programs administered by ORE to support research and creative activities for faculty and PIs whose departments fall under the Chancellor of UT’s Knoxville campus.
Research Seed Programs—Internal funding programs supporting focused research projects that can be completed in one year with the stipulation that PIs will seek external funding for continued research at the end of that year.
Organized Research Unit (ORU) Funding—Funds for organized research units to pursue external funding and become self-sufficient.
Professional and Scholarly Development Awards (PSDA)—Funds for non-STEM tenure and tenure-track faculty to enable scholarship that leads to research opportunities, collaborations, book contracts, juried competitions, foundation grants, faculty annual awards, or journal papers in direct alignment with our Vol Vision 2020 goals.
Additional UT Funding Opportunities—Funds from other campus organizations that partner with ORE.
Open Publishing Support Fund—A fund to pay fees that support open access journals, administered in conjunction with UT Libraries.
