White House director of sci/tech policy set for live webcast from Oak Ridge

John Holdren, director, White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, is scheduled to give a live webcast from Oak Ridge National Laboratory on Thursday, March 13 at 10 a.m. Holdren is assistant to the president for science and is co-chair of the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology. He served as a member of PCAST through both terms of the Clinton administration and chaired studies on preventing theft of nuclear materials, disposition of surplus weapon plutonium, and international cooperation on energy-technology innovation.
