UT has been chosen to participate in a new program designed to expand partnerships between universities in the United States and Norway.
The Norwegian Centre for International Collaboration in Education and the Institute of International Education (IIE) selected UT as one of twelve US colleges and universities to participate in the inaugural Norway initiative of IIE’s International Academic Partnership Program.
“Globalization has changed the way the world works, and higher education is an area where the US and Norway can build strong institutional relations and promote collaboration among our universities that will foster deeper ties between our two countries,” said Allan Goodman, president of IIE.
The program will provide resources to help universities explore areas of academic cooperation, including students and scholar exchanges, research collaborations, and degree programs.
