Trace archive downloads exceed 2.26 million papers

As of January 31, 2014, the  Tennessee Research and Creative Exchange has recorded more than 2.26 million full-text downloads of papers and other documents archived by UT faculty, staff, and students. In November 2013, Trace hit its second million, only a year after it reached the one-million benchmark.

Launched in 2009, the Trace archive is an open-access platform for electronic publishing and preservation of scholarly and creative work done by the UT community. Trace is sponsored by the University Libraries, the Office of the Provost, the Office of Research & Engagement, and the UT/ORNL Science Alliance.
