The University of Tennessee will host an independent TED conference this Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Lindsay Young Auditorium in Hodges Library.
This is the second year UT has organized the TEDxUTK event. Last year, the event hosted speakers on a range of topics from art, language, architecture, energy sustainability and botany – to name a few. This year, attendees will have the opportunity to hear talks on social justice, the Middle East, arts, archeology, printmaking and two talks on 3D printing.
The conference is divided into a morning and evening session with four speakers in each session. A schedule and ticket information may be found at https://www.tedxutk.com/attend.
