Presented by representatives from NIH policy, program, review, and grant administration offices, the NIH Regional Seminar covers a range of topics, including the application and review process, applicable federal regulations and policies, and current areas of special interest or concern at NIH. Interaction between attendees and NIH representatives is encouraged, so the seminar is an excellent opportunity to network with review staff and program officers.

ORE Announces New SEC Visiting Faculty Travel Grant
The Office of Research and Engagement is glad to announce a new Southeastern Conference (SEC) Visiting Faculty Travel Grant Program. The program, intended to enhance faculty collaboration between SEC universities, gives faculty members from one SEC university the opportunity to travel to another SEC campus to exchange ideas, develop grant proposals, conduct research, present a recital, or engage in whatever activities are agreeable to the visitor and host unit.

SEC Visiting Faculty Travel Grant Program Call for Proposals – REVISED DEADLINE
The Office of Research and Engagement is pleased to announce a Call for Proposals for the Southeastern Conference (SEC) Visiting Faculty Travel Grant Program, which supports faculty the opportunity to travel to another SEC campus to stimulate scholarly initiatives between SEC universities. The details of the competition are contained in the attached document. To be considered for one of UT’s SEC travel grants, UTK faculty must submit their proposal in one PDF file via email attachment to Alan Rutenberg at arutenberg@utk.edu by 5:00 pm on Friday September 12, 2014.
