Tokesha Warner has been named director of the Research Development Team in the Office of Research and Engagement, effective November 30.
Warner was most recently at the University of Georgia where she managed the GrantSMART Office for Proposal Development in the Office of the Vice President for Research. In that role, she was responsible for launching, managing and expanding research development functions in a central unit to support large, complex proposals for research and training across the university.
“It is an honor and privilege to join the Office of Research and Engagement’s Research Development Team,” said Warner. “I eagerly anticipate partnering with faculty and UT leadership to maximize funding opportunities and build on the progressive momentum underway.”
