Louise Nuttle has been named director of the Faculty Development Team in the Office of Research and Engagement, effective July 27.
Nuttle joins the University of Tennessee from her position as assistant vice president for research and director of sponsored programs at East Tennessee State University, which she held for the past eight years.
In that role, she directed the daily operations of the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs Administration and provided individualized assistance to ETSU’s faculty in their pursuit of extramural funding to support their research, service, instruction and scholarship activities.
“I’m looking forward to working with my colleagues in the Office of Research and Engagement to design and deliver programs and services that support faculty research and scholarship. I think we have a real opportunity to make a significant contribution to the success of both the individual researchers as well as the institution as a whole. I’m really excited to be part of it.”
