The Office of Research and Engagement recently launched a new Research Seed Program that provides funding for University of Tennessee, Knoxville and UT Space Institute tenured and tenure-track faculty. The seed grant program offers internal funds intended to help generate proposal submissions to focused sponsors or around a particular initiative.

ORE seeks to fund projects within each of these categories that encourage faculty members to identify and seek new funding and begin to generate manuscripts for publication shortly after the seed project ends.

Associate Vice Chancellor for Research Development will be on campus beginning October 10. This position reports to Taylor Eighmy, vice chancellor for research and engagement (organizational chart).

As part of their campus visit, each candidate will hold a public forum and respond to questions following their presentations. The AVCRD search committee invites you and your faculty members to join us for these sessions and provide feedback on the visiting candidates.
