Limited Submission Opportunities

These federal, private, and corporate funding solicitations limit the number of proposals that can be submitted per applicant institution and are competed internally at UT. Priority opportunities are considered to have strategic significance to the institution in the execution of its research, teaching, and outreach mission. Their internal competitions will be run earlier in order to provide more proposal development support and reviewers will be asked to identify the best ideas with the most potential to become UT differentiators. Cleared applicants who commit to begin working with Research Development proposal managers immediately after the limited submission competition will be approved to submit to the next two proposal deadlines, for a total of two cleared submissions.
