Register for Waitlist, View Draft Agenda of 21st Century Cures: Southeast Conference

Organizers of the 21st Century Cures: Southeast Conference have received a positive response from potential attendees and prestigious speakers alike. Registration for the conference is currently on a waitlist, however, UT faculty are encouraged to register by April 14 as additional seating may become available.

A draft conference agenda can be accessed here (with UT NetID). The registration for the waitlist, as well as further conference details is posted on research.utk.edu.

Among the speakers confirmed to present at this conference is Sean Hanlon, associate director of the Center for Strategic Scientific Initiatives (CSSI) at the NCI. Hanlon also serves as a CSSI/NCI representative on NCI, NIH and interagency working groups and committees, including Cancer Moonshot Implementation teams and the trans-NCI Data Sharing working group. He also provides strategic and scientific leadership to collaborative transdisciplinary programs, including the NIH Common Fund’s 4D Nucleome program.

Hanlon is scheduled to speak in the afternoon on June 1. The conference will begin with an evening keynote address and reception on May 31 and run a full agenda of speakers through late afternoon on June 1.
