Research Core Facilities
Our research community and our external partners have access to sophisticated research expertise, instruments, and facilities in our Research Core Facilities, often on a fee-for-service basis.
UT faculty can access shared research computing resources through the Infrastructure for Scientific Applications and Advanced Computing (ISAAC), which is provisioned by UT’s Office of Information Technology.
Research Institutes & Centers
The university houses a number of research institutes and centers. These entities allow faculty, staff, students, postdoctoral fellows, and their partners to collaborate on inherently complex and interdisciplinary challenges, advancing the frontiers of knowledge and tackling problems facing society at local, national, and global scales.
UT Research Park at Cherokee Farm
The UT Research Park at Cherokee Farm serves as a cornerstone for interdisciplinary research and innovation. It has been designed to co-locate UT research teams with their corporate, community, and non-profit partners, facilitating the translation of research outcomes into products and services that create a more just, prosperous, and sustainable world.
