Brad Collett, associate professor in both the Department of Plant Sciences and the School of Landscape Architecture at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, interviewed with Hallerin Hilton Hill September 23 on the Hallerin Hilton Hill Show on News Talk 98.7, WOKI-FM. The interview is part of a series Hill is producing with a focus on the impactful research being conducted at UT and the faculty members behind that work.
Collett’s research interests include landscape performance—specifically, watershed stewardship through low-impact development—and sustainable planning and design in the context of professional practice.
He speaks about an ongoing project of significance to the Knoxville community: the Tennessee RiverLine. Faculty and students are working with community partners to shape the future of the Tennessee River and the people who are linked to it by investigating development along the waterfront.
Listen to the episode and tune in to Hill’s live show on weekdays from 3 to 7 p.m.
