2021 Haslam Scholars Cohort Announced
Fifteen incoming students join the University of Tennessee, Knoxville’s premier undergraduate honors program, the Haslam Scholars Program. Founded in 2008, the program was created with a generous gift from Jimmy and Dee Haslam and Jim and Natalie Haslam.
UT Institute of Agriculture Names New Director of Sponsored Programs
The University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture is excited to welcome Hollie R. Schreiber as the new director of the Office of Sponsored Programs. Schreiber is currently the director of Sponsored Programs for the Division of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater.
Schmitz Wins SME Education Award
MABE Professor Tony Schmitz received the SME Education Award for his manufacturing education leadership and service in machining science and technology. The award is one of seven SME International Honor Awards, which recognize leaders in industry and academia for their contributions to manufacturing, research, education, scientific publications, and service to SME.
