The Conversation is a nonprofit, independent news organization that publishes articles written by academic experts for the general public, edited by a team of journalists. Through a Creative Commons license, articles are distributed free of charge to news organizations around the world.
The Conversation seeks to increase public faith in news and information by providing trustworthy information to its readers. This is accomplished by elevating the voices of subject matter experts. Authors work directly with editors to publish their work on The Conversation, ensuring that the content is reliable and available to a wide audience.
UT faculty and graduate students are frequently featured on The Conversation, highlighting research, scholarship, and creative activity across all 11 colleges and the UT Space Institute.
