After pausing most Scholarly Activity and Research Incentive Funds (SARIF) funds over the summer, the Office of Research and Engagement has officially resumed normal operations for SARIF, albeit on a revised schedule.
As a reminder, tenured and tenure-track faculty with a primary appointment at UT Knoxville, UT Institute of Agriculture, or UT Space Institute are eligible to apply for SARIF. Additional eligibility criteria may apply; please review specific criteria in each SARIF opportunity.
The first SARIF competitions to be relaunched in the next few weeks will be:
- Summer Graduate Research Assistantship
- Equipment and Infrastructure Fund
Detailed application instructions will be available on the SARIF webpage. Interested faculty will apply via the InfoReady system after each program is announced.
The following SARIF funds were not paused over the summer, and faculty may continue to submit applications at any time:
- Open Publication Support Fund
- Exhibit, Performance, and Publication Fund
- One Source Subvention
- Three Source Subvention
Please contact email@example.com with any questions.
