Schedule Zoom Consultation with Fulbright Program Officer

On April 23, Cecilia Kocinski-Mulder, a Fulbright program officer with primary expertise in Europe, will hold individual Zoom consultations with faculty members who are considering applying for a Fulbright.

As of March 23, the 2021-2022 Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program* is still open for applications. The deadline to apply is September 15, 2020.

The Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program offers approximately 800 teaching, research or combination teaching and research awards in over 125 countries. Open to faculty members in all ranks and all disciplines who are US citizens, the program is among the national faculty awards counted by the Center for the Measurement of University Performance in their ranking of U.S. research universities. It is also a target program for ORE in support of the institutional goals around increasing the visibility of our faculty through national awards.  UT’s success rate with faculty Fulbright applications is commonly 30-50%, but often has ten or fewer applications.

Faculty interested in scheduling a one-on-one consultation with Kocinski-Mulder should contact Alan Rutenberg (arutenberg@utk.edu).

* The Fulbright U.S. Scholar program is entirely different from the student Fulbright program, which is administered by a separate organization.
