The Office of Research and Engagement is hosting NIH Day to recognize and celebrate the achievements of UT’s biomedical research community. Attendees will hear an overview of the sponsor, funding trends, and recent changes, learn about science funded by the National Institutes of Health, and meet Research Development staff supporting NIH researchers. A networking reception and poster session will provide opportunities to connect with fellow researchers to discuss ideas and explore opportunities to collaborate.
The event will be held from 1–6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 31, in the Howard H. Baker Jr. Center for Public Policy, and light refreshments will be provided. If you plan to attend NIH Day, please register by Friday, March 20. The event is open to all interested faculty, staff, and students at UT, UTIA, UTGSM, and ORNL.
If you would like to present a poster associated with a biomedical research topic, or staff an information booth to provide information about your laboratory or core facility services, please register by Friday, March 20. Posters may be presented by faculty, postdoctoral researchers, graduate students, and undergraduate students performing biomedical research at UT, UTIA, UTGSM, and ORNL. Posters associated with past or current NIH-funded projects are strongly encouraged.
