Attend Training for Online Research Evaluation Tool

The University of Tennessee has scheduled four training sessions for InCites, an online research analytics and evaluation tool.  InCites is a research evaluation platform that allows for in-depth analysis of  trends and citation patterns of the publication activity data for individuals, groups, organizations, countries, journals, and research areas. InCites provides tools and metrics to analyze institutional productivity, find collaborators, monitor collaboration activity, identify influential researchers, showcase strengths, and discover areas of opportunity.

Workshop dates/times:

  • November 6 at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.
  • November 7 at 1 p.m.
  • November 14 at 10 a.m.

InCites relies on the Web of Science Core Collection which includes published research from all disciplines, including the Social Sciences, and the Arts and Humanities. In addition to journal articles and reviews, the Core Collection data set also includes books, book reviews, and conference proceedings.

InCites Solutions Specialist Nick Mitchell will be providing a series of InCites trainings specifically for our institution. These trainings will provide an introduction to using InCites and its available research performance indicators as well as take you on a deeper dive with institutional benchmarking, finding collaborators and funding opportunities.
