As a member institution of Oak Ridge Associated Universities (ORAU), UT faculty have access to apply for ORAU-Directed Research and Development (ODRD) Grants, a research and development program that supports collaborations between ORAU and member universities.
An ODRD research concept may be initiated by ORAU staff or a member university faculty or staff member. The proposed research concepts must align with at least one of ORAU’s core capability areas and focus on improving service to an ORAU customer. Interested faculty must submit applications for this opportunity by September 9 and February 1 of each year. Proposals will be internally reviewed and the top proposals will be recommended for submission to ORAU.
