Register Now

There are a limited number of spaces due to the event venue, so register now.

Join us for the second annual 21st Century Cures Southeast Conference on March 22, 2018, from 8:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m. at the Howard H. Baker Jr. Center for Public Policy.

This conference offers a great opportunity to network with other scientists, researchers and NIH program officials.

This year’s conference features two tracks:

Track 1: Social Determinants of Health, will focus on scientific inquiry related to questions surrounding the use of big data to understand social determinants of health, discovering new patterns of social determinants, and more.

Nishadi Rajapakse, program director in the Division of Scientific Programs at the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities at the National Institutes of Health, is just one of the exciting speakers of the day.

Track 2: Cancer Care and Outcomes, will focus on the use of big data to find “hidden” cancer outcome disparities, improve cancer outcomes, and more.

This track will feature Epidemiologist and Program Director Erin Kent, of the National Cancer Institute, among others from NCI, the Duke Cancer Institute and the University of Kentucky.

Please contact Kimberly Eck (keck@utk.edu) with any questions.
