ORE To Host Army Research Office Chief Scientist, Program Manager

The Office of Research and Engagement will host Stephen Lee, chief scientist at the Army Research Office (ARO), and Jay Wilkins, program manager for Modeling Complex Systems in the ARO Mathematical Sciences Division Thursday, October 27 in the ground floor conference room (A004) at Blount Hall.

Lee and Wilkins will give presentations open to all faculty members beginning at 8:15 a.m. Lee will present an overview of ARO, including advice for working with ARO program managers, followed by a talk from Wilkins about the goals and direction of his research program.

ARO is the Army’s extramural basic research agency and funds proposals in the engineering, physical, information, and life sciences primarily from educational institutions and nonprofit organizations.
