The Office of Research & Engagement’s News & Opportunities newsletter has a new look and a targeted plan for content designed with our research community in mind.
Why “Catalyst?” Merriam-Webster defines a catalyst as “an agent that provokes or speeds significant change or action.”
ORE helps faculty propel their careers forward through research funding and development opportunities, enables students at all levels to further their education through experiential learning and presents them with occasions to create professional networks that will benefit them for years to come, all while helping the university reach its Top 25 research goals.
The Office of Research & Engagement is a catalyst for change.
Recently, ORE implemented a new feature in the newsletter and on the website titled “Funding Opportunities Roundup.” This is a grouping of several funding opportunities from the week of publication that cover a wide range of disciplines and awards.
Another change involves eliminating one of our emails from your inbox. The Awards & Recognitions newsletter, which was originally published every two weeks, then every month, will now be offered – online only – once every month. Upon publication, there will be a notification in the Catalyst newsletter.
ORE is eager to engage with and better meet the needs of our audience. To that end, we welcome your suggestions and encourage you to email feedback.
