ORE Announces New SEC Visiting Faculty Travel Grant

The Office of Research and Engagement is glad to announce a new Southeastern Conference (SEC) Visiting Faculty Travel Grant Program. The program, intended to enhance faculty collaboration between SEC universities, gives faculty members from one SEC university the opportunity to travel to another SEC campus to exchange ideas, develop grant proposals, conduct research, present a recital, or engage in whatever activities are agreeable to the visitor and host unit.

Travel grants will range from $500 – $1,000 each and are not necessarily meant to cover all the travel costs but to lessen the financial burden of the faculty member’s travel.

To find out how to be considered for one of UT’s travel grants, go here. There is a May 8, 2015 deadline to submit.
