The Office of Research and Engagement is seeking internal nominations for the National Endowment for the Humanities Summer Stipend program for projects beginning in May 2017. NEH Summer Stipends provide $6,000 to support continuous full-time work on a humanities project for a period of two consecutive months. Program guidelines can be found on the NEH website.
Internal nomination packages consisting of a two-page preproposal, a resume, and a cover letter from the department head must be submitted by the department to ORE by 5:00 p.m., Friday, July 29, 2016. Two nominees will be selected to submit to the NEH deadline on September 30, 2016. Eligible faculty members interested in being considered should contact their respective department heads to coordinate their nomination.
Any questions about the NEH Summer Stipend program should be directed to Alan Rutenberg at firstname.lastname@example.org.
