New Electronic Submission System for Research Proposals

Cayuse LogoSince about 2013, the University of Tennessee System has been involved in a procurement effort for all campuses in the system to acquire a vendor—supported enterprise level (1) sponsored project life cycle management system and (2) an electronic proposal development and submittal system for Grants.gov (which encompasses most federal agencies) and Fastlane (for NSF only). A committee comprised of representatives from each campus selected the Cayuse SP and Cayuse 424 suite from eVisions.

Read a memo from Taylor Eighmy, vice chancellor of research and engagement, regarding the implementation of this new proposal software.

The Office of Sponsored Programs will begin training sessions for Cayuse SP the week of Thanksgiving. Several sessions are available between November 23, 2015-January 5, 2016 with three tentative sessions built in on an as needed basis.

Given the system conversion and the holiday closures, if you have a proposal needing submittal between Friday, December 18 and Thursday, December 31, then please plan on having your proposal submitted to OSP no later than Thursday, December 10.

If you have any questions, please contact the Office of Sponsored Programs at 865-974-3466 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
