The American Institute of Chemical Engineers recently bestowed a top honor on UT’s Bamin Khomami, as the group’s board of directors announced his election as an AIChE Fellow.
Khomami, who leads the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, was selected for the honor based on what the AIChE said was “the high esteem with which your colleagues and peers view your distinctive professional achievements and accomplishments.”
“It is very gratifying to be recognized for my contributions to the chemical engineering profession,” said Khomami. “This recognition also confirms that our collective professional achievements in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at UT are being recognized by our most accomplished peers.”
