UT Research Park Breaks Ground on Innovation South

UT Research Park celebrated the groundbreaking of Innovation South, which will be the new home of UT’s Fibers and Composites Manufacturing Facility. UT will occupy a 40,000-square-foot high bay and laboratory space designed to support teams of faculty, students and their industry collaborators who will work together to conceptualize, prototype and test sustainable composite materials for advanced manufacturing applications.

Tennessee Partners with Kentucky to Strengthen Circular Economy

UT is a core partner on a new NSF Engines Development Program award aimed to create a diverse innovation and talent development hub that secures US competitiveness in next-generation manufacturing and supply chain logistics, supports closed-cycle manufacturing to reduce waste, and increases efficiencies across sectors including automotive, aerospace, energy, food and beverage, and materials.
