UT offers students unrivaled access to hands-on research opportunities in applied health and wellness fields of study and practice. Through partnerships with community health care providers, our students learn in the classroom, in the community, and alongside clinicians and health care providers around the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our faculty integrate research-driven insights into course curricula to make students\u2019 academic experiences even more valuable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Undergraduate students\u2014even those in their first year\u2014pursue internships, co-ops, and experiential learning related to health and wellness through the Office of Undergraduate Research and Fellowships<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Graduate students experience interdisciplinary programming and hands-on experiences as well as traditional graduate research and teaching assistantships through UT\u2019s Graduate School<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

There\u2019s a gap in current knowledge about multitargeting guide RNAs, so I\u2019m hoping to expand on the existing research. My research is different from doing regular coursework, where it\u2019s just contributing toward my own understanding. I\u2019m helping with something that\u2019s going to be useful in the future. It\u2019s really fulfilling.\u201d<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
