Researchers Help Develop Sensor to Detect PTSD

Researchers in UT’s Tickle College of Engineering and Institute of Agriculture are partnering with technology development firm CFD Research Corporation to create a groundbreaking device that uses biomarkers in the blood to diagnose post-traumatic stress disorder and other complex conditions.

UT Chemist Researches Micro- and Nanoplastics to Reduce Future Harm to Health and Environment

Approximately 75 percent of plastic used is landfilled or cast into the environment, leading to fragmentation into tiny particles. Researchers at UT are studying microplastics and nanoplastics to determine how they form in the environment—and how to reduce or even prevent their formation.

Collaboration Between UT and UTMC Could Revolutionize Breast Cancer Diagnosis
