Core Facilities Program Issues Call for Letters of Intent

In support of the University of Tennessee’s goal to be recognized among the top 25 public research universities, the Office of Research and Engagement is pleased to announce the planned expansion of the UT Core Facilities Program (UTCFP), and is issuing a call to the broader research community to submit Letters of Intent (LOI) for those who may be interested in organizing resources into an officially recognized core facility.

LOIs will be reviewed by the Core Facilities Advisory Committee (CFAC) and those that most closely fit the needs of the research community will be selected from the applicant pool for invitation to complete the full application process. (See LOI for details.)

Those selected to complete the full application will receive administrative assistance from ORE to complete the submission packet and a limited number of proposals will receive a financial award in support of the submission process.

ORE will organize a brown bag informational presentation in the coming weeks for those interested in learning more about this process.
