The lineup for the 2014 Wigner Distinguished Lecuture series includes
- January 27, 2014 – Arun Majumdar, vice president of energy, Google.org, and founding director of the federal Advanced Research Projects Agency – Energy (ARPA-E)
- February 12 – Steven Chu, former U.S. Secretary of Energy and 1997 Nobel laureate in physics
- April 7 – Craig Barrett, former chairman of the board for Intel Corporation
Oak Ridge National Laboratory, which sponsors the series, holds the lectures on its Oak Ridge campus and streams live video of the event to UT’s Baker Center auditorium. Specific details of each lecture will be posted as available.
