PAPPG 20-1), researchers will be required to use one of two formats for submitting biographical sketches as well as the current and pending support documents. Both the biographical sketches and the current and pending support documentation can be completed by using an approved fillable PDF or entered on the SciENcv website. These changes go into effect on June 1, 2020.

Office of Research and Engagement (ORE) and college/department staff, have explored both options and recommend using SciENcv, as it allows for significant long-term maintenance capability. With SciENcv, researchers can have multiple biographical sketches with publication listings tailored to various research areas, link to their ORCID account for ease of publication selection, and easily update current and pending projects. iGem Competition Giant Jamboree in Boston.

The UT students, from the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, received a gold medal designation in the competition sponsored by the International Genetically Engineered Machine (iGem) Foundation, an independent nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the field through education, competition, and collaboration. The iGem Competition is a premier international competition for undergraduate students in the field of synthetic biology.

Dear Colleagues:

Recently President Joe DiPietro announced a new safety policy to protect minors participating in cam pus programs. The University has committed to promoting a safe environment for minors by fostering a University culture that is committed to preventing, recognizing and reporting and ad dressing child abuse and child sexual abuse.  As part of the University’s duty to provide a safe environment for minors who are present on the University of Tennessee campus or who have direct contact with members of the UT community, a new policy was implemented on January 1, 2014.
