On February 23, the Cancer Community of Scholars will be hosting a research symposium featuring keynote speaker Daniel DiMaio, deputy director of the Yale Cancer Center, in the Morrison’s Conference Center at UT Medical Center. There will be a poster presentation of cancer-related research from 2-4 p.m. with a keynote address by DiMaio’s to follow. The poster session will include time for questions and networking with food and drinks provided.
Faculty, staff, visiting scientists, postdoctoral scholars, graduate students, and undergraduate students are invited to submit a poster abstract for consideration.
The abstract submission deadline is 5 p.m., Wednesday, February 1.

If you are interested in presenting a poster highlighting your cancer-themed research, please submit an approximately 250 word abstract to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please attach your abstract to your e-mail as a Microsoft Word file or as a PDF file.
Your abstract should include a title and the names and affiliations of all authors. Abstracts will be reviewed by a panel of Cancer Community of Scholar members and you will be notified before Friday, February 10 of your acceptance. Details on poster size and set-up will be e-mailed to all participants. At least one author must be available from 2–3 p.m. on February 23 to present their poster and network with meeting participants.
