Increasingly, scientific discovery is driven by researchers coming together from diverse disciplines to solve complex problems.
The Office of Research and Engagement is pleased to announce the new UT Collaborative Research Network (CORNET) Awards to stimulate interdisciplinary research on cancer. Researchers from across the UT system will meet at the UT CORNET Cancer Conference in early November to build partnerships to respond to this opportunity.
The Cancer Conference is designed to bring together cancer researchers from different UT campuses, allowing them to share their research interests, and catalyze new collaborative partnerships that will result in the submission of a UT CORNET Award proposal in Cancer.
The UT CORNET Cancer Conference will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at The Double Tree by Hilton Murfreesboro, 1850 Old Fort Parkway, Murfreesboro, TN, 37129, from 10:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
If you are a cancer researcher who is interested in collaborating and/or attending the UT CORNET Cancer Conference in November, please register here and fill out a brief questionnaire on your research interests. The registration portal will also allow you to search for, and view, research profiles of others who are interested in a UT CORNET collaboration. The deadline for registration for the UT CORNET Cancer Conference via this portal is Monday, October 31, 2016.
