Research Week and the Exhibition of Undergraduate Research and Creative Achievement (EURēCA)
Each spring, Research Week puts the spotlight on undergraduate researchers, scholars, artists and performers with a concert, an honors symposium, an art competition and a student paper competition. The week culminates with the Exhibition of Undergraduate Research and Creative Achievement (EURēCA), a showcase of research and creative activities by currently enrolled undergraduates in collaboration with a UT Knoxville faculty mentor. This annual competition encourages, supports and rewards undergraduate participation in the campus research enterprise by awarding monetary prizes for exemplary projects and performances.
Posters at the Capitol
Undergraduate researchers from across the state of Tennessee convene at the State Capitol every February to share their projects with state legislators. Each year, some of the best students from UT Knoxville are chosen to represent the university in Nashville and display their posters in the Legislative Plaza. Take a look at the most recent Posters at the Capitol.
Pursuit: The Journal of Undergraduate Research at the University of Tennessee
Pursuit is the first scholarly journal at UT Knoxville managed and edited by undergraduates and devoted specifically to their research achievements. The journal publishes on a biannual schedule in spring and fall semesters. The inaugural issue debuted during Research Week 2010. Visit the Pursuit web site to find out about submitting articles or becoming a member of the editorial review board.
