Online Faculty and Staff Development
The Office of Research offers online faculty & staff development courses through Online@UT (Blackboard). These courses provide a self-paced option to current classroom training. HR 128 credit is also available for online courses. More online courses will be available soon.

Registration Information
To self-enroll for Responsible Conduct in Research (RCR) or any of the
online professional development courses in the UTK Office of Research
learning community:
- Go to Online@UT
- Log-in with your NetID and password
- Click on Community tab
- Scroll through the "Organization Catalog" until you find Office of
Research - Click on the Office of Research link. You should then see organization information with an Enroll button (far right side)
- Click Enroll and you will get a confirmation page that you are
enrolling in the Office of Research learning community - Click Submit button. You should receive a confirmation that you have been enrolled.
- Click back on the Community tab and you should see a link to UTK
Office of Research Training (if not, you may need to close out and log in again)
After the enrollment process is complete, you should be able to access any of the available online research professional development courses.
