Office of Research & Engagement
The Office of Research and Engagement (ORE) oversees the process by which proposals are selected for submission by the university in response to federal, private, and corporate funding solicitations that limit the number of proposals that can be submitted per applicant institution. Below is a list of limited submission opportunities recently announced by ORE and the internal deadlines for receipt of a Notification of Interest (NOI). Please be aware that the list is not comprehensive. Anyone wishing to apply to a limited submission solicitation that is not posted on our website should contact email@example.com immediately. ORE will review the sponsor guidelines, evaluate the funding scope, and determine the need for an internal solicitation.
NOIs must be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org and be received by 12 p.m. on the date specified for the particular award opportunity. The normal process for proposal selection is outlined on the Management of Limited Submission Funding Opportunities page. Exceptions to this process are made in certain situations, for example, when the deadline is short, when the program is highly focused, or when an opportunity reflects a strategic priority and/or requires significant institutional commitment.
The National Science Foundation maintains a comprehensive listing of their limited submissions opportunities.
