Date: Friday, August 25

Time: 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Location: E102 Melrose Hall (Humanities Center Seminar Room)

Presenters: Alan Rutenberg

Target Audience: Faculty

This workshop will focus on a strategic approach to the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial fellowship, which is one of only three prestigious humanities awards that allows scholars to devote significant continuous time to research and writing on their own campus. The deadline is September 19, 2017.

These on-campus fellowships are most often awarded to tenured faculty in the visual arts and creative writing with emerging national visibility.

UT faculty members who have received a Guggenheim fellowship will make brief presentations.
