Senior Office of Naval Research Official Visit

Larry Schuette, Director of Research at the Office of Naval Research (ONR), will give a presentation about ONR interests and working with ONR.

Schuette leads the Office of Research, which manages a number of basic and applied research programs including the Multidisciplinary University Research Initiative (MURI), Defense University Research Instrumentation Program (DURIP), Basic Research Challenge, and Young Investigator Program (YIP). His office also oversees the Summer Faculty Research and Sabbatical Leave programs for eligible science and engineering faculty members.

Schuette’s talk promises to offer valuable insights on U.S. Navy research priorities as well as means to engage with the Office of Naval Research, and all interested faculty are invited to attend.
